Meet Katie Mae
Therapist
Offering individual counseling services in Denver, Colorado, I draw from a depth-oriented psychology background that is influenced by a holistic approach. I am attuned to the whole person, tending to the mind, body, heart, and spirit.

During the therapeutic process, I accompany each person on their journey of growth, discovery, and transformation, by offering clinical insight and support. Individuals are invited to speak their truth, engage in cultivating self-awareness, and embrace their authenticity to uncover the healing that lies within.
My MA in clinical mental health counseling and internship were completed through Regis University. In addition, I have over ten years of experience as a yoga practitioner and teacher.

My Approach
I believe that each of us has the ability to heal from the experiences in our lives that caused suffering or left us feeling wounded. However, exploring this pain and sharing our stories can feel both scary and intimidating. Using a heart-centered approach, I create a safe, compassionate container for you to draw up your own courage to look inward and explore the wounds that brought you to therapy.
Drawing upon my mindfulness-based skills, somatic experience, and clinical expertise I accompany each person on their journey of self-healing, serving as both a guide and a witness, honoring the individuality of the person and the process.

Good Faith Estimate and No Surprises Act
Per the Federal "No Surprises Act", you have the right to request a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

In order to determine our fit, I offer a complimentary 15 - 20 minute phone consultation for us to get to know each other. To get started, please fill out the form below.
